This notice describes the Sober & Sexy community signup and email update service at soberandsexy.org.
Information we collect
When you join, we collect your name, email address, city or area, selected experience interests, and your agreement to receive email updates. We record signup and confirmation dates and membership status. We also keep verification and unsubscribe tokens, email delivery records, and limited technical information used to prevent abuse. Our hosting provider may keep server logs containing IP addresses and request details.
How we use it
We use this information to confirm your email, manage your membership, send community and experience updates relevant to your selected interests, honor unsubscribe requests, and protect the service from misuse.
Service providers
IONOS hosts our website and member database. Brevo sends our emails and processes the recipient information and message content needed for delivery. Authorized Sober & Sexy administrators can access member records and export them to manage the community.
Cookies and storage
The administrator portal uses a session cookie for sign-in and browser storage to resume pending email updates. These features support administration of the service.
Retention and your choices
Unsubscribing stops future community updates but does not automatically delete your member record. We retain membership and delivery records to operate the service and honor your preferences. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing experience@soberandsexy.org. We may ask you to verify that you control the email address before acting on a request.
